"Along with Blade's plan to speak to the king, we could go to Nayum's. You and Amira can sneak in as I deal with his guards." Narik looked to Blade and smiled. "The only difference between mine and Blade's plan is that I doubt the killing will be silent, but hey, I can try."

Klein nodded thoughtfully. He pondered a moment. "We may need a combination here..." He looked around a moment. "To take out Nayum, we need to take out his guards first, there is apparently 3 of them." He paused. "But we also need to speak to the king, try to stop this war, or at least delay it long enough for us to take out Nayum." He looked towards the center of the camp. "Nayum is almost always in that tent, and I know one of his generals was with him earlier, not sure about the others. But being at the center of the camp when we take him out won't be good, the people will swarm us, and we'd either die or have to kill innocents, both are outcomes I dont want." Blade looked at him. "So we need to strike when he's away from camp, or at least when no one is around." He said. Klein nodded. "Then we should split into two groups." Narik said stepping forward. "Two go to the king and delay the war, and the other two do some recon and find out when the best time to take out Nayum and his three generals would be." Klein thought this over a moment. "Agreed. Only question is, who goes where? And how do we go about each task? Stealth, deception, force?" He shook his head. "I'll let the three of you decide, I'll take whatever spot is needed of me. But when it comes time to take him out, we should all be together, there are 4 of them and 4 of us, I'd like to keep the odds even."

Blade spoke his opinion, "I think I should speak to the king, and Narik should come with me should we run into any trouble. Klein, you're an avid hunter so tracking down Nayum should be a simple task, especially with Amira's help." Klein nodded, "Any objections?" He said looking back and forth between Narik and Amira.

Amira nodded thoughtfully. "I agree with you, Blade. That seems to be our greatest chance. I say we do it." She looked to Narik along with Klein and Blade, waiting for his confirmation, eager to start after Nayum.

"Yeah, I think Blade and I can handle shoving a pacifier in the king's mouth. I can't say I would find recon interesting anyhow. So, when do we get this thing started?"

Klein nodded. "Its set then. I think the two of you should head out now, it would be easier to slip out unnoticed at night, but if you're tired I think waiting a night would be fine, who knows how long this recon will take." He shook his head. "As for me, I'm starting tonight. Amira, it's late, you could use some rest." He said. Klein walked into the tent and over to his bedroll. He grabbed his armor and slung it in, making sure it was tight and wouldnt make any noise as he moved. He re-equipped his weapons and strapped his pack on. "I'm ready." He said turning to look at what the others were doing. "Have you formed a plan yet?" He asked.

Blade smiled, "Well, I figured Narik and I would waltz right through the front door, and I would use my charm, cunning, and devilish good looks to snare the king into ending this war this very night."

"Alright then, let's not get ahead of ourselves." Narik patted Blade on the back. "Let's get going then. We'll want to do this as soon as possible." Narik and Blade then set out to the king's castle. They soon got to the front doors of the castle and sat outside staring at it. "So, how should we approach doing this exactly?" Narik asked Blade.

Blade smiled, "Well I said we'd waltz on in wouldn't we?" Narik laughed, "Yes, I suppose you did." Blade gestured toward the door, "Well let's get going then!" Blade pushed open the large castle door, and walked in followed by Narik. Immediately, several guards with weapons drawn encircled them. One pointed a spear close to Blade's head, "You have no business here!" Blade tapped the spear away from his face, "Well introductions aside.." The guard moved the spear back, now even closer to Blade's face. Blade sighed, "I need to speak to your king, it's of utmost importance, it's crucial to the dawning battle."

King Hanlin snapped his fingers. The guards begrudgingly lowered their spears and stepped aside, still eyeing the travelers suspiciously. King Hanlin walked up the steps to his throne and sat. "So, the 'battle' you say?" He said. He chuckled to himself a bit. "You honestly think I'm afraid of your little army of plebes? But fine, let's hear it." He said, beckoning the men to step forward.
Meanwhile...
Klein crouched low peering out from a tree near Nayum's tent. Not a soul had gone in or out since he had been watching, but he could hear faint voices coming from the inside. "I need to get in closer...but how do I do that without being spotted..." He mumbled. He glanced around, there was no better place to hide. "I'll stay here for now...damn." He mumbled, shifting slightly but continuing to keep his eyes stuck to the entrance. "Make a move you bastard..." he thought.

Blade shook his head, "Oh no no no sir, you've got us all wrong." King Hanlin smiled, "How so?" Blade approached his throne, "I'm not a part of that silly little resistance." Hanlin leaned back in the throne, "Then why have you come here?" Blade walked up a few steps near the throne, "Because sir, I've got an offer you simply can't refuse." Hanlin looked intrigued, "I'm listening." Blade walked back down and put his arms around 2 of the guards, "Though I'm certain you're royal guards would make quick work of the feeble alliance, I'm afraid due to the outnumbering, you may face a few casualties." The guards pushed him away. Hanlin stood up, "This does not appear to be an offer." Blade looked up to him, "Allow me to finish. If you give me one days time, I can assure you there will be no need for a battle. No bloodshed, no loss." King Hanlin sat back down and pondered for a moment, and Blade made his way up to the thrown. Hanlin looked at him, "What's your name?" Blade smirked, "The one and only, Blade Sharpp." The king nodded, "As I'm sure you know I am the great King Hanlin. Sir Blade, I agree to your offer." He extended his arm, and the men shook hands. Blade made his way to the door with Narik, "I assure you good King, you will not be disappointed. " The king laughed, and called to Blade as he exited, "For your sake, I had better not."

Klein shook his head, Nayum and whoever he was with had been conversing for hours, obviously planning for the battle. "They are never leaving are they?" He mumbled begrudgingly. Just as he was about to head back he heard the flap of the tent shuffle. He focused on the entrance, out strode a very large, muscular man, shirtless, with an axe nearly as large as he was strung across his back, Klein couldn't make out his face. "Thats no normal villager...one of the generals perhaps?" He thought. Klein hopped from the tree silently, creeping along behind the man, making sure to keep enough distance as not to be heard nor spotted.
The man eventually made his way all the way to a small shack on the outskirts of the village, atop a hill overlooking a large field, the field where the war was to commence no doubt. "So this is where the generals are hiding...and Nayum must come here for safety as well." Klein thought to himself, working his way close. "This is where we should come to face them, I cant fight them all by myself right now." He turned and ran back to the camp, making sure no one noticed him enter.
He made his way back into the tent, waking Amira up. "Amira, I've located the hideout of the generals...well...I think I did." He said, realizing he hadnt gotten close enough to confirm this for certain. "When Narik and Blade return, have them meet me at this location immediatly, make sure none of you are spotted leaving if you can." He finished, drawing out direction in the dirt of the tent. "I'll go and keep watch, be ready. If you don't find me when you go there, run." He finished, exiting the tent and making his way back to the shack. He lay in the grass nearby, keeping his eyes locked on the door, he needed to know if they left, or if any more returned. He was ready.

Narik and Blade made their way back to the meeting point, finding only Amira waiting there. "Where did Klein head off too?" Narik asked with a concerned look. "He went to keep watch on Nayum and the others. He told me to follow these directions with you once you all arrived." She pointed at the ground. Narik and Blade walked over to observe. "Alright, seems easy enough. Any other rules he throw in?" Amira put his hand to her chin. "Yeah, there was one more. Don't get caught." Narik sighed. "That'll be difficult with this loud mouth here, you should've heard him acting all high and honorable with the king..." They started to make their way to the location Klein made out, but noticed some guards making their way to the location as well. "We stay behind them, make no noise, and they will lead us to the location perfectly." Narik told the others as they continued on. They eventually got to the shack, but the guards only looked around and went off to another location again. "Alright..now we just have to find Klein. He has to be around here somewhere."

The group looked around quietly, Amira whispered "Klein said if we don't see him, run.." Blade shook his head, not wanting to make any noise. They saw klein in some tall grass waving them over, the group quickly made their way there. They all got prone, and waited for Klein's instruction. "Wait here, don't move and be quiet. Keep your eyes on the door and don't do anything until then."

Klein looked over his shoulder. "I don't know how many of them are in there. At least Nayum and one of the generals, and he was big...really big..." He whispered. He looked back towards the door. "Did you guys buy any time?" He asked glancing back at Blade. "Yeah, I managed to smooth talk us an extra day." He said smirking. "Doubt it was really needed now...but still good job." Klein said with a nod. Klein moved to a crouching position, lifting his fist up, a motion telling his friends to stay down.
He started to inch forward slowly, his hunter instincts kicking in as he moved up silently on his prey. He slid into position under the window. "So when do we get to kill!?" he heard a shrill voice say from indoors. "Calm down...tomorrow you can spill all the blood you like, I dont even care which side it's from" Nayum said. He heard a grunt from a third man, most likely the large one. Klein only heard 3 voices, only three of them mustve been inside, he could judge from the sounds that none of them were near the window. He lifted his head slightly to look inside. He was wrong, there were four. Nayum, the large man, A smaller man in a hood, and another standing in the corner wearing strange armor he had never seen. They all had masks on aside from Nayum so Klein could not see their faces.
Klein glanced back at his friends and held up 4 fingers. Glancing back he was face to face with a mask, some kind of bird. He fell backwards. The door burst open. "Well...if it isn't our 'warrior' friend." Nayum said, a slight sense of pity in his voice. "It's a shame you had to stumble upon us." He said, a grin forming. The large man stepped forward, his mask was a Tiger. The hooded man jumped over him and landed, his mask was a fox. The strange armored man simply walked and stood beside Nayum, looking at the ground, his was the bird it seemed. "Well DeSoto..." Nayum said laughing. "Looks like your blood lust will be satisfied for a bit. Kill him." Nayum said flipping his wrist and turning to walk off.
Klein stood his ground gripping the handle of his rapier. "Well..." Klein said. "Which one of you will face me." He said. The hooded man laughed insanely. "Hahaha! I will, I want your blood..." He said. As he was about to draw his weapon the armored man stepped forward, putting his hand out. "What!?" The hooded man said. "Sha'luk...fine...you can have him if you insist, I'll get my share of blood from his friends." Saying that his gaze snapped to the grass where the others were. "How did you...damn...he's sharp..." Klein mumbled. The armored man stepped forward, still not speaking. He had a strange weapon on his arm, long blades extended from it, in his other hand he drew a katana. "Fine...I'll fight you..." Klein said drawing his Rapier. "You two!" Klein called, directing it and Blade and Narik. "Get out here...we have company." He said.
