Narik and Klein both teamed up as they went from side to side of Ellis constantly cutting away parts of his aura, while Blade recovered from the attack and joined in again. Ellis did a pretty good job at avoiding much of the attack, but with three people to fight he had a few mistakes. Narik noticed that Ellis had some vials of blood left on him, but didn't bother to use them just yet. "He must have something planned if he is not even using those, even letting us in on how to beat him without any regrets..."
Alex and Amira had left the scene and went to get backup from the police. After Alex told them the story of what happened to Gale and that they had finally found the killer, they were in full support to help out. "I want four teams of four. A healer group, a long range group, a close range group, and finally a binding group." Amira looked to Alex as he gave the demands, "What is a binding group?" Alex smiled back to her. "I want to bring Ellis in alive, I still have some business to attend to with him, that team uses some spells to make sure that he stays nice and still." Amira nodded and the group waited for the teams to be assembled.
Ellis had only about an inch of aura left to defend himself with as the trio continued their onslaught. Narik, Klein, and Blade all stood in one line in front of Ellis. "Well then, I'll tell you what. If you manage to get my aura gone with one more attack from each of you, then you get bonus points and get to advance to the next level. How does that sound?" Klein sighed at the request. "I really don't care about these 'bonus points' or moving on to anything, but I guess we'll play along." He looked to Blade and Narik and nodded and they all moved towards Ellis. Narik moved to the middle of the formation and then Blade moved behind him. Narik jumped into the air and landed on Blade's shoulders, who then boosted him up above Ellis. Klein went towards the left of Ellis, while Blade took the right. Ellis had his attention on Narik while this happened and by time he noticed, it was already to late. All three of the men readied their weapons to attack as Ellis watched helplessly. He even turned around to see if running behind was possible, but saw that Alex and Amira had returned with the officers.
The three attacks then hit him, from the left, right, and above. The aura disappeared from his body and he fell to the ground in pain. Narik's attack landed after the aura dispersed as Blade and Klein's attacks did the trick, leaving Ellis with a slice across the chest. "Ha...this is the first time I've felt blood run down me in so long. I almost miss the feeling, the actual feeling of pain, but sadly for you guys, this is all part of the plan." Ellis finally reached for the remaining vials of blood and dropped them onto the ground. The blood rose up, but instead of making a aura around Ellis, it added itself to his wound. "The final ability I gained from my organization is this, when blood from others are mixed in with my own, the final transformation happens." With those words, the figure of Ellis started to change. His body began to grow tremendously and his muscles grew even bigger than before. He now stood about 3 feet taller than everyone else and was much more powerful. Ellis then started to laugh uncontrollably and the group noticed that even his voice changed, growing deeper with each laugh. "Now, my friends! Let the final act begin!"

Klein jumped backwards. "God damnit, I'm really getting sick of this guy." He said, wiping some blood from his cheek. He quickly drew his bow and fired three arrows towards Ellis to give the others a chance to get some distance. He slung it back over his back and ducked low, rushing forward at Ellis and attempting to jump and slash him with his dirks. Ellis simply smacked him aside and Klein smashed into the side of a nearby home, broken glass rained upon him cutting his face and arm deeply. He slumped to the ground. "He's...strong." He attempted to stand, but fell again. He reached his arm to his waist, grabbing for his pack. "Shit..w...where is it?" His eyes scanned around the area, fixating on Amira. "Damnit..." He clutched his bleeding arm, planting one foot strongly against the ground he pushed up, rising to a kneeling position. "Amira!" He called. "I need my...!" His voice was cut short as he winced in pain.

Amira heard Klein call her name and immediately realized that she'd yet to return his pack to him. She ran to wear he was kneeling on the ground, giving him the pack and offering to do anything she could, feeling useless otherwise.

Alex ordered the officers he got to start fighting along with Narik and Blade. He brought the binding unit with him to explain his plan. "I doubt we are going to be able to beat Ellis now that he is in this state, but we can stall him while you four charge up a binding strong enough to take him down and possibly turn him back to his normal self." One of the men nodded, but looked worried. "We can do this, but it will take quite a bit to charge up enough energy to work." Alex started to walk away, but gave a thumbs up to the group. "You better start now then!" He ran inside Ellis's house and went to the top floor where all the other vials were. "I can't let him get these as well, but there is too much to transport that fast.." He grabbed as many as he could and blew open a wall opposite Ellis and the fight with his staff and then started the throw the vials as far as he could. "Hopefully his absorbing ability doesn't have this much reach.."
Klein sat up against a wall as Amira patched him up with his kit. "It looks like they could use all the help they can get...I feel so useless now.." Amira patted him on the shoulder to calm him down. "They can handle themselves, you just have to believe in them." Klein's frown changed to a smile and they both watched the battle occurring. Narik was instructing the officers on their plan as Blade tried to dodge and hit Ellis whenever possible. "Alright, you guys are long range, so just stay back and do what you do best, don't worry about coming in and backing us up if we are hurt or need help, that is what the healer team is for. Lastly, the short range squad will follow me and Blade to fight Ellis head on, so if we are all ready, let's take this bastard down for good!" Narik drew both of his daggers and the SR squad stood beside him as they charged to help out Blade in the fight.

Blade waited for the charge behind him to continue fighting. The large group was helpful, but Ellis threw the feeble officers aside like they were nothing, and soon they were in no condition to fight, Narik and Blade stood as the remaining two fighting head on, the healers were busy with the hurt officers, and the ranged units had seemingly no effect. Quickly, Narik and Blade attacked from either side, preventing Ellis from focusing on both at the same time. Narik hit him with a lethal flurry with his daggers, and Ellis turned to face him. "You're finished!" He rushed to attack Narik, but before he could attack Blade leaped on his back, his left arm hooked around Ellis's neck while he punched Ellis' head with his right. "You little pest!" Ellis effortlessly flung Blade to the ground , and turned to Narik again, "Now where were we..." He clenched his fist, his muscles seemed to become even larger, he wound up and swung his powerful fist at Narik. Narik winced. When he opened his eyes wondering why the attack hadn't hit him, he saw Blade in a defensive position guarding Ellis's fist. Blade caught the attack with his arms, which were crossed in front of him. Blade coughed as he struggled to remain standing. He smirked and looked to Ellis, "Do your worst!"

Klein looked on as the fight raged, the officers were being batted aside, and Narik and Blade were having a tough time. "Gah...I gotta do something!" He said struggling to stand. His arm was still quite numb, and his legs were slightly shaking. He looked back to the fight and saw Blade jump onto Ellis' back and get thrown off soon after."Damnit, he's way too strong." Klein mumbled. Ellis was about to slam into Narik, when Blade quickly moved in the way, barely blocking the blow. Ellis was focused on Blade now, and Narik was obviously ready to strike back. "Now...now is my chance." Klein said to himself, drawing his dirks, his left hand barely able to grip the handle. He slowly began inching forward, attempting to sneak up behind Ellis unnoticed while his attention was diverted, and deliver at least some kind of damage.

Narik noticed that Klein was walking behind Ellis and decided that this was the best time to strike. He moved beside Blade and swung his sword at Ellis's face, leaving a cut across his forehead. Ellis threw Blade aside and starting to inch towards Narik, but Klein stabbed Ellis in the back at that moment and then proceeded to slice at his back afterwards. Ellis yelled in pain and then turned his attention to Klein, who slowly started to back away from the brute. Narik ran towards Ellis, but was knocked away as well. Ellis was getting closer and closer to Klein before he suddenly stopped. He looked to his right and noticed that the binding team was there. "Ah, I see what your plan is now. Well then, time to change that."
Ellis charged at the group and caught them off guard. "We have to use what we have now!" One of the member yelled to the others. They all combined their energy together and threw it at Ellis, which managed to hold him. "It isn't going to do this for long, we have to damage him right now." Blade and Narik recovered from their blows and ran in to inflict as much damage as they could, as well as the officers who had been healed and had enough stamina left to fight again. They all ran to Ellis and gave it their all to hurt him as much as possible, cutting his legs, his chest, and his arms. Ellis recoils in pain and moved around trying to get the binds off, while the attacks kept pouring in. Eventually, he finally managed to break the binds, but now had difficulty walking as his legs had been cut up. "Damn it, I can't absorb blood in this form either, but I can still use my hands...barely."
Ellis knocked away all the officers that were around him and then went to finish the binding unit so that they couldn't charge their energy again. Blade and Narik ran to try and help out the team, but they were knocked aside again and had to watch helplessly as the team was killed. Ellis turned to them and began to laugh. "There. All your reinforcements are dead, one of your teammates is barely standing, and you two don't have much more in you to continue fighting. I think I'll call this a checkmate." Narik and Blade laid there motionless, trying to think of a plan that could be used to beat Ellis now that their only solution was lost. "No, there is still one card left to play." Everyone looked to see whose voice it was and they saw that Alex was standing in Ellis's house, looking through the hole in the wall. He was holding his staff, which was giving off a red and black glow. "My original plan was to keep you alive, but I see now that an abomination like you has to be put down for good. I figured that the binding team wouldn't be able to keep you down, so I've been in here charging a greater spell." Ellis smirked at Alex's comments. "Oh, so you have another binding technique that won't work. Well, go ahead and try it."
Alex jumped out of the building and landed in the street. He held up his staff as high as he could and the glow began to grow in size, slowly forming into a large sphere. "Sorry, but this isn't a binding spell. I thought you would caught on when I said that you are too dangerous to be kept alive. This is a forbidden spell I learned from from my travels that is said to summon a portal to the depths of hell and I'd say that's where you belong." Ellis got ready to charge at Alex, but didn't noticed that Narik and Blade had slip behind him during the speech. They both took several of the swords that laid around the battlefield and started to stab them into Ellis's legs to immobilize him. Ellis fell to his knees and the swords sank deeper into the wounds, preventing him from moving. Alex then started to walk towards the fallen beast and positioned the sphere directly next to his head as Narik threw Blade one of his daggers and they each stabbed one into Ellis's arms to make sure he didn't fight back. "You know, there is a nice lyric from a song that fits perfectly with this situation Blade. I heard it on the seas once, some old pirate tune. And the sudden plunge in the sullen swell, ten fathoms deep...on the road to hell." Narik moved away from Ellis after finishing the line and Blade followed his lead as Alex shot the sphere at Ellis, which slowly started to suck him in until there was nothing left.

Klein watched on in amazement as Ellis vanished before his eyes. "This...this power." He stammered. He leaned backwards against the wall of a nearby building, completely exhausted from the battle. "We would have been finished...that spell saved us." He shook his head. "So that is the power of a hero." He said, breathing in deeply. He pushed himself off the wall after regaining his strength and walked over to rejoin the others. "Is it over for good?" He asked, looking to nobody in particular.

Alex weakly smiled to Klein. "Yes, I believe it is finally over." He then lost balance and fell to the ground. "Looks like I used up all my energy for that one spell. It is the first time I've done it, so I never knew the outcome. Luckily it all worked out in the end and I think it's time for a nap." Alex closed his eyes and was out in a matter of seconds. Narik turned around and looked to the battle scarred street and all of the bodies of the officers. "I can't believe that it took so much to take one guy out. All the stories I heard made it seem easy, but at least we can add one mission success to our names now."
.............
Ellis opened his eyes and slowly stood to his feet. He had been reverted back to his normal human form and was on a small island in the middle of the sea, nothing could be seen for miles except the blue ocean. "Well, I never expected hell to be this tropical, I might actually like it here." He suddenly heard a laugh from behind him. "No, I don't think you'll like it here at all." Ellis froze in terror as he heard the voice. "Tha...that voice. Why are you here?" The person walked closer to Ellis. "I saved you from that attack at the last moment, you would've really been in hell if I didn't. It was very difficult though, trying to teleport someone at the moment they are getting sucked into a vortex to the fires below." Ellis turned to face the person after being still and silent for quite some time. "I guess I should thank you then, Venric. I never imagined you would save my life after all those...encounters we had during the old days." Venric laughed at the words. "Oh, don't thank me. Thank the boss, if it weren't for him telling me to save you, I would've never bothered, but there was a reason he picked me for this mission."
With that, Venric removed the axe that was strapped on his back. "We saved you in order to properly finish you off. You wouldn't want to be remembered as the member who got killed by a bunch of nobodies, hmm?" Ellis moved back and pulled out a scroll. "Just to let you know, the person who delivered my 'killing blow' was Alex, who is one of the Heroes of Yuferrock. Remember the stories that the boss told us about them? How that group of men stood up against the old organization and their army of 5000 demons and lived. They were proclaimed strongest in the world for that feat and I would've been honored to be killed by one of them since I did kinda kill one of them as well." Venric charged at Ellis, who then used the scroll to transform into a even larger version of his previous form. "Hmm, so you put the blood of the hero into the scroll and having been saving it as a trump card. Well then, before we fight, I'd like to let you know that Matt was already injured when you fought him, he had a run in with Kain before hand, so don't act high and mighty." Ellis ran at Venric and clenched his fist as Venric readied his axe. The two then exchanged attacks and stood still. Ellis looked to his chest and saw a small cut. "Ha, it that the best you've got?" Suddenly, the cut turned into a large gash and Ellis could no longer feel his lower body. He looked down again and saw that his body was cut in half. "Damn it, how strong have you become?" The two parts divided and fell to the ground as Venric wiped his axe of the blood. " The rest of the Heroes of Yuferrock are still alive and active, hmm? Also it seems like this new batch of heroes are getting in over their head...might have to deal with them soon."
............
Alex woke up and looked around the room he was in, he soon recognized it as his fort. "Everything is fine now, we got you back to your home and the area has been cleared of the battle." Narik said to Alex. "Thank you, it is going to take awhile to repair the damages, but I will get to it eventually. At least it wasn't the entire city though..." Alex got out of bed and walked over to Narik. He looked to the picture on the wall that Klein took interest to before. Narik noticed that a tear fell from Alex's eye as he gazed at the picture, lost in thought. "I finally avenged my fallen brother, now he can rest in peace." Narik stood from the seat he was in and joined Alex at the picture. "You know, I never saw this one before when I last came here. Where was this?" Alex smiled and place his hand on the picture. "It was in Yuferrock, the Western continent. That was where we all met up. We fought many battles together, but this picture shows the aftermath of the toughest battle of them all. There was a organization of people known as Astral who wanted to rule the entire continent and almost managed to do so, but when they reached the ruler's summit we had a final battle with them and won. This was us right after that battle."
Narik nodded and the butler walked in with the rest of the group. "Ah, so everyone else has come to see me as well. I appreciate the concern, but I am fine now. Was just a little exhausted from the fight is all." Klein moved to the front of the group and bowed to Alex and everyone else joined with him. "Without you, I probably wouldn't be alive, twice now. You have saved all of us and now I see why you are known as a hero." Alex started to blush from the praise, but quickly changed subjects. "Ah yes, I almost forgot. I called in a little favor for you all and got you a brand new boat. It is much bigger and stronger than the last as well, just in case you have another sea battle. Come, I will show you it." They were all led to the docks where the ship was held, the rising sun in the horizon complimented the beauty of the ship. Narik, Klein, Blade, and Amira all got on board and prepared to leave and bidded their farewells to Alex. "We will meet again, sometime, somewhere!" Alex yelled to the group as they started to move out. Once the ship was far in the distance, Alex grinned. "They have all inherited the will of the heroes, the legacy will be passed down generation to generation, until the end of time."
