The COG have been disbanded after the battle with the Locust. The former Gears now remain in "family groups" across many different sovereign ships out at sea. They had began to rebuild and regroup to bring order to Sera again, but the Locust have returned as well as the rogue group of Locust known as the Lambent, who have been corrupted by the Imulsion under the surface. The Gears must now stand once more against the threats they had believed to be gone before humanity is wiped out for good.
This RP will start with the COGs on the sovereign "Raven's Nest" where the Locust are found for the first time since the sinking of Jacinto. After fighting alongside Marcus, Dom, Anya, Jace, and other COGs, you will sent off on other missions that will be taking place on the sidelines of the actual GoW3 story.

Summer cog armor. Right arm tattooed with banner displaying his deceased brother's name, left shoulder tatooed COG symbol with barbed wire wrapped around it. Nathan Majewski ( shaved Black hair, blue eyes, eyepatch, standard COG armor. Lancer, Sawed-off, Gorgon SMG, incendiary grenades.) Bio: Following his fathers foot steps, Brian and his brother Matt always planned on becoming professional thrashball players. Brian grew up with the sport, played through all his youth. As the locust threat demanded more and more soldiers, the sport began to dwindle. Brian was set to be drafted to a professional team, but as cities began to sink, thrashball vanished. Brian had a new calling, he and his brother enlisted, along with longtime friend Alec Martsen. They were assigned to Able squad under Nathan Majewski. The squad was stationed, as well as several other COG soldiers, to defend northwestern Jacinto. There, large groups of locust forces were emerging, and entering the city. Able squad fought nearly a day against unending hoards of locust. Though no one would ever know, Able squad was a large part in delta's success that day. Thanks to them, the hoard was suppressed to only the northwestern area of the city, keeping them from overwhelming Marcus, and delta. They fought strong and hard, but only 3 men escaped the battle. Matt was killed in the cities immanent destruction, in a valiant effort to save remaining civilians. In honor of his brother, Brian had a banner displaying "Never Forgotten" with "Matthew" underneath. Matt always joked about Brian's long hair, as a final joke, as well as to honor his fallen brother, Brian now dons his new hairstyle.

Evan reached into the ocean to scoop some water. He leaned back his head and poured it onto his hair. "Well, that could've went better than it did.." Evan looked to James and smirked. "Yeah, instead we get denied and it takes a good 4 hours to get back to Raven's Nest. It just so hot now.." The boat was nearing the sovereign and the men had just failed their recent mission to recruit more Stranded to their cause. "Alright Issac, slow it down a bit, we are getting close to the docks." Evan said as he got up from his seat and went to wave the guard the code. The team got back onto the ship and went to go report into the commander. James and Issac stood outside as Evan went in to receive the lecture. "So you failed again, eh? How the hell did you ever become a Gear if you can't even get a few Stranded to follow you?" The commander yelled. "I'm sorry sir, but it's not our fault. The Stranded already have civilizations set up all over Sera and they figure they don't need our help to rebuild as they've already done so. Hell, even some of the soldiers we recruited from Lifeboat are packing up and leaving as well. We just aren't the soldiers we use to be, everyone thinks the Locust are gone, but..." The commander leaned forward in his chair. "But what? Are you thinking that the Locust are still alive?" Evan clenched his fists and turned to the door. "No sir, I'm just frustrated." The commander leaned back into his chair and then stamped some papers on the desk. "Alright then, you are dismissed. Take some time off to cool your head, I bet your team needs it too." Evan nodded and walked out to inform the team of their break as the commander got up to look out the window, pondering Evan's words.

Alec pitched the ball to Brian, and he took off. He tucked the ball, and looked upfield. He was fast, there was only one opposing player that could get him now. He got low, and got had perfect tackling form, but there was no way. Brian ran straight through him leaving him flat on his back. He crossed the goal line and scored, it was the eighth time he'd done that today. Brian wished he could have scored in an enormous stadium, full of loud fans calling his name, scoring the game winner for the championship title. But no, this wasn't a championship game, it was a pickup game aboard Raven's nest between a few COG soldiers with some downtime. That was the end of the game, but it had been over long before that considering Brian scored 8 times and the opposing team not once. Dan, a friend of Brian's and a member of the losing team approached him. "Damn, these pickup games are decided as soon as you get picked! You stopped us every defensive play and scored 8 times, I'm telling you man you would have gotten far in the league." He patted Brian on the back and walked away, soon after Alec approached him laughing, "Haha too easy right?" Brian smiled and nodded as he leaned against a wall and stared out to sea. Alec noticed Brian wasn't in the best of moods. "Something wrong?" Brian turned to face him smiling, "No, I was just thinking... Maybe Matt would have given them a chance in these games." They laughed for a moment before Brian looked back to the ocean. Alec turned away, "Can't believe it's been 18 months... I'll leave you alone, catch you later ." "Alright, sounds good." Brian said as Alec walked away. Brian sighed and looked at the tattoo on his right arm, "Matt.. It's been a long 18 months..."

Trevor looked out at the sky. "Damn COG..." He mumbled. "I signed up to this shitty army to protect my family, and kill Locust...now I dont have either." He lifted his gloved hand in front of his face, sighing as the ring finger went limp. His eyes drifted sideways to the Gorgon SMG he had just finished cleaning in his other hand. "Damn Kantus...when did they learn how to use Lancers? Fuck..." He shook his head. "Trevor!" He heard behind him. Looking over his shoulder he waved a hand. "Nichol, whats up?" He asked. "Just seeing how you're doing, me and the guys went for drinks, why didn't you come with us?" He asked, his helmet in his arms. "Why? Well to be honest I cant stand that fucking Leonard, hes a lapdog to the higher ups. They say jump, he says 'Let me suck you off first'. Makes me fucking sick." He grimaced and turned back towards the window. "Hell boy, can't rightly stand Randy either, headstrong bastard will get as all killed. But you boy? You're alright, just don't piss me off or get me shot." He laughed slightly at this, and Nichol nervously did as well. "And one more thing...not a word of this to anyone ok?" He said turning back. "Or else..." He pointed the Gorgon to his head and smiled, pointing his other finger in Nichol's direction. "You get the idea. Now what is it you needed?" He asked. "Got new orders sir, told to report in in 30 minutes." Nichol said. "Alright...damnit lets go see what stupid shit we have to do this time..."

Evan walked out of the commander's office and saw that James and Issac were gone. "Where the hell did they go off to now?" He walked around the corner and saw that they were at the balcony overlooking the courtyard. "Watching a Trashball game, eh? Good thing we have a break now to do so." Issac turned around and smiled. "Yeah, it just ended though. You need to loosen up as well, you always act like these breaks are burdens." Evan shrugged. "There is work to be done, that's why I don't care for these breaks. We still need to rebuild, everything is in ruins and there isn't time for us to lounge around and act like we've won." James folded his arms together and leaned on the rails of the balcony. "We have all the time in the world to rebuild. The Stranded know they can't do anything against us and don't start talking about how the Locusts aren't really gone. Anyway, it's just a few days that we have to stay here. You can go back to saving the world soon." Issac and James both walked away to go to the mess hall as Evan looked out into the courtyard, thinking if he really should let go of his theories.

Brian sighed, "Just another boring ass day on this ship..." He thought, clearing his mind of his brother. The game had ended several minutes ago, and he was the only one left around the make shift field. He grabbed the ball because no one else had, then he noticed a man up on a balcony, visibly concerned about something. Brian recognized him, a commanding officer, much more experience than Brian, and a higher rank to show it. He bounced the ball as he walked closer, trying to remember his name. He gave up thinking, then looked up to him "Somethin wrong up there?"

Evan looked down and saw Brian in the courtyard. He descended down the stairs nearby and walked over to him. "Might as well try to enjoy myself, make a little conversation.." Evan said under his breath. Brian continued to bounce the ball and looked confused when Evan awkwardly walked up and stood speechless for awhile. "Are you stunned by the game earlier? It's alright, everyone's always shocked about how good I play." Evan shot out of his trance and smiled back at Brian. "Yeah, Brian Rushing. I've heard plenty about you, not only are you good at this sport, but a great minded soldier on the battlefield as well." The two men shook hands and then Brian started to tap his chin with his finger. "I'm sorry, but I honestly can't remember your name. I guess it's because you're always working your ass off and never chill out with the others." The words stacked on to Evan's already peaking angry, but he shrugged it off and tried to stay casual. "Maj. Evan Morris. I guess you wouldn't really hear of me much anyway. I'm mostly in charge of handling missions for the soldiers and always on missions myself that are deemed to much to handle for the regulars." Brian nodded and then threw the trashball over to the rest of the equipment. "Well then I guess it's time you meet the soldiers you handle, it's lunch so let's go eat." Brian started off to the mess hall and Evan decided to follow after him, slowly becoming more interested in the crew's activities.

Brian smirked as they walked, "You know I was jokin about the whole "How good I am stuff" right? I mean Im not that much of an ass." Evan laughed, and simply shook his head. Brian continued the small talk, "Too much for regulars to handle huh? Damn, consider yourself lucky, its boring as hell around here, I haven't been on a single mission since I've been here." Evan responded, "I guess you're right, but let's face it, negotiating with stranded isn't exactly the most exiting gig on the planet." Brian laughed, "Guess I wouldn't know. After all, I AM just a "regular." The man laughed as they entered the mess hall.

Trevor walked out of the commanders office. "Aw hell...another mission where I may have to kill more men?" He shook his head. "This is not what I signed up for." He looked up at a nearby clock. "Great...almost missed Mess too." He walked towards the Mess Hall, turning his cap forward and lowering the brim to cover his eyes. He gathered his food and sat at a table alone, not wanting to be bothered. He looked over to see Nichol and Leonard eating together as Randy sat down across from them. "You idiots are too comfortable with eachother...when one of you dies, its me that won't be torn down by it." He actually chuckled at this as he began to eat, keeping one eye on the entrance to note anyone who entered, learning faces would help when his ass was on the line.

"Well you don't necessarily have to be a regular for long, I could always put in a good word for you, possibly get you promoted. Like I said earlier, I heard you're a good soldier...so was your brother as well." Brian paused as they waited in line for the food. "Yeah, I know." He put his hand on his tattoo and Evan looked on silently, trying to think of a good way to change topics. "Well then, where do you normally sit anyway?" Brian grabbed the tray of food with one hand and pointed off to a corner of the room with the other. Evan looked in the direction and saw many of the others that played Trashball as well as James and Issac and the soldiers he called 'regulars'. "You know, I felt like I wanted to try some bonding with the common soldiers, but I have a feeling that they won't exactly enjoy a Major trying to socialize with them." Brian laughed and then pointed over to a different part of the room. "No, over there are the people you wouldn't want to try to chat with. They are the kind that don't care for the higher-ups at all and only follow orders to not get kicked out of here." Evan cleared his throat and continued walking with Brian to the other tables. "Yeah, I can see what you mean, but I can understand where they are coming from. Somewhat.." He looked on to one of the tables and saw a soldier sitting by himself. The soldier looked up and gave a digusted look to him and then continued to his food. Evan sat down with Brian and the others and looked down into his food. "Yeah, just somewhat.."

Brian ate some of his food before continuing, "So a step up from a 'regular'..." Evan nodded, " We need more soldiers like you, and I don't mean just physically. I mean soldiers who WANT to fight, and not just men who are forced into it." Brian responded, "I appreciate it, and honestly, I don't understand those who don't want to fight. This world needs us to protect it, and everyone needs to do their part." Evan smiled, "Couldn't have said it better myself, soldier." Brian looked up and noticed a man within earshot staring angrily over from another table. Brian pointed him out to Evan, "What's this guy's problem..?"

Trevor eyed one table in particular suspiciously. A Major was trying to win over a lower ranking soldier, he knew what that would lead to. The same rank of the officer that gave the order to leave his family. He turned back to eating, trying to push the thought of shooting the fucker in the face out of his mind. He sighed and finished eating, standing and stretching before moving towards the door. "I have to leave in just another hour...guess I better get ready soon." He mumbled. He gave one last glance over his shoulder at the Major and his newest victim, turning back and shaking his head.
