Blade placed the ball under the center cup. "As you wish sir." He began shuffling them at great speed, nearly impossible to see the moving cups. Blade attempted to break his focus, "Sir I'll have you know I'm no liar, this town has plenty, and I'm not another." he stopped, and left the man to choose. "Go ahead sir! Which do you choose!?"

Mille watched the center cup as it moved, pulling his hands out of his pockets and ignoring Blade's chat. He was silent for a moment, then spoke:
"I could say it's under the right cup, but it's not there. I could claim it's in the left, but it's not there either, is it? That leaves the center, but you're no liar and you wouldn't make this game a trick...That means it couldn't possibly be under the center cup, now could it?" He looked Blade directly in the eyes "The fact that you tried to break my concentration but didn't have another one of your friends try and pickpocket me means that you run a very profitable game here. I'm quite sure that you make enough coin a week to get by, and possibly have some luxury." Mille went silent for a few moments, his attention shifting off. Finally, he looked at Blade again.
"And that would make the last choice your pockets."

Blade smiled. "Ha, as any inelegant man would assume, I must have cheated...As i stated, I'm no cheater sir." Blade emptied his pockets, revealing only a small bag of coins and a few crumbs. Blade once again spoke, "Now feast your eyes on this.." blade lifted the right cup, reveling the ball. Blade looked into the man's eyes, "I'm a gamesman sir, not a lying deceitful criminal. However, I cannot blame you, many a man have failed before you, you were only right to assume the ball wasn't under any of them!" Blade shook his hand and slid the coin back to him. "I won't take your money, as I don't see it fit for me to charge you for thinking."

"Interesting. I've played this game several times before, and my guess was usually the case. This town also has much crime, which is actually half of why i'll be leaving." He stared at the coin for a moment, then looked at Blade. "Keep it; you outsmarted me, and I judged you wrong."
He saluted Blade and walked out of the tent, heading back in the direction of the inn. He checked out of his room and grabbed his belongings (only his dagger and an aged map), then waited outside of the inn for a caravan to come by that could take him somewhere else. And now I wait.

Arriving in Braiden, Malice walked up to Mille and they saluted eachother. They spoke briefly in a foriegn tongue, then Mille went inside. "It's nearly night now, and we're going to go to Redna in the morning. Pay for your own room or sssleep outside; it makes no difference to me. Just meet us right here, outside the inn, at sunrise." Malice went inside the inn and checked into a room.
(This is really a chance for everyone to get onto the same story, unless they don't want to. Gamerbug, if you want to speed up time a bit and continue on with the story, we can do that as well)

Klein sighed. He didnt want to waste more money. He looked around and noticed the gamesman from the day before was still there packing up his stand for the night. He walked over. "Hello there!" Klein said. "Care for a drink or something? I need to repay your kindness the other day" He stood in the doorway of the Tavern waiting for a reply.

Narik woke up and went to his other room where the money was kept. "Okay, guess I might as well see what is going on in this town." Narik stated as he walked out onto the street. He noticed the tavern and went straight to it. He moved to the stand and order some beers. "Please, give me some bottles, I don't plan on staying here that long and would like some for the road." After getting the bottles, Narik put them in a bag and placed another bag on the table. "Here you go, it's much more than the beers, but I feel generous." Narik smiled and then walked out of the tavern. He finished packing the rest of the money bags into his carriage and then sat down to decide where to take off to.

"Klein, Klein Ruglia." Klein said walking inside. He turned a chair around and sat with his arms resting on the back. "Sit down Blade." He said. "Blade Sharpp? Strange name. So, what'll you have?" He asked with a smirk, removing a few coins from his pack.

Blade smiled, "Yes, ha, my parents had quite a since of humor eh? And don't you worry for a second, I owe you for the kindness, I made a bigger profit than you did, Mr. Ruglia." Blade called over Elaine, and she have the men both a pint. Blade handed her the coins, "Thanks miss, I appreciate it." He turned to Klein, "So...You staying here, or have you other plans?"

Klein looked at the beverage. "Thanks, but I dont drink. Go ahead and drink it down." He said. Elaine brought him some milk and he downed it. "Well, I'm sort of a drifter, I'm heading up north to Redna tommorow, then across the sea, then who knows where." He leaned back slightly setting his cup down. "I was headed that way today when i got attacked by some wolves, some weird man in a hood saved me, said he'd let me take passage on his ship." Klein took another sip of his milk. "We had to come back here for the day and pick up his friend. Both of them seem really fishy..." He sighed. "Maybe I'm just being paranoid." Klein finished his milk with a gulp. "So, how about you? You a traveler or do you live here?"

Blade raised an eye brow. "Hmmm...Well, if you're intimidated by these shady characters...I'm good friends with the owner of several ships in the Redna bay, I could take you...where ever it is you're going. It may not seem like it, but I've been trying to leave this town since the day I arrived here. I would be more than happy to assist you, and have an excuse to leave." Blade crossed his arms and sat back, waiting for an answer.

Klein sighed. This was a difficult decision, the other men were obviously good in a fight. But Blade seemed much more trustworthy. Klein glanced at Blade then the Inn across the way. "Yea, I'd rather leave now then tommorow, time is something id like to save in life." He stood. "Let me just leave a message at the Inn for the other two." He said walking. He told the Inn keep to pass along the message that he had left that night, but did not tell him why or with whom. "Lets go Blade. Is there anything you need from your home first?" He asked.

Blade nodded, and ran home. He grabbed a large bag full of money and extra ammunition for his pistol, and strapped it to his back, and met Klein outside the inn. "Klein, you'll find out soon enough I like to think things through.Thoroughly" He paused, and laughed, "Ha, here's the plan. We'll head north to Redna, and we'll get there by day break. We'll be able to rest on the ship." Blade patted Klien on the back, and they began walking.

"How rude of him to leave," said Malice with a chuckle as he threw the note away. "No matter. We'll still head back to Redna. Let's go now; the sooner, the better."
"Maybe it's better that we didn't have a third anyway," said Mille, putting the dagger into a sheath on his belt. "Rafts don't work too well when there's more weight on them." He laughed, and the two went out in the direction of Redna.
