Narik smiled at Blade. "Yeah, I guess that is kinda funny, isn't it? But who knows, maybe he'll get there. Somehow, someway." Blade positioned the boat to head straight to the docks and him and Narik went off to bed.
Morning came and the men found themselves at the city's coast. "Well now, this is a nice view." Narik exclaimed, looking at the city and the rising sun in the horizon. "Guess we might as well tie the boat up and take a look."

The raft reached shore soon, Klein hopped off and finally stood on land again. "Phew..." He streched. "Good to be on solid ground..." He looked around. "Well, I have some business to take care of. I'll see you guys again." Klein said over his shoulder as he ran off into the town.
Klein looked in the nearby shops for a replacement weapon. He found a shop that sold weapons soon and browsed it's selection. "Hm..." He mumbled, chewing his bottom lip slightly. "I have no idea what to get." He looked at his dirks, noting that he needed a weapon with longer reach. "Might I suggest this young man?" The middle-aged owner of the store said, gesturing towards a thin longer blade. "What is it?" Klein asked. "It's called a rapier, it's a popular sword in the northern countries. It's made for piercing and stabbing attacks, a good compliment to your other weapons" Klein nodded at this. "I'll take it. How much is it?" He shuffled to grab his money. "300" the man said. Klein then noticed he left his pack on the ship. "Oh...oh crap!" He said worried. He reached into his pockets, pulling out only 13 coins. "I...I left my money somewhere else." Klein said. "Oh? Well perhaps there is something you can help me with instead..." The man said with a smile. "What do you have in mind?" Klein asked worried. The man moved to shut the nearby window as Klein leaned against the wall uneasily.

Dias docked his boat on the island. Dias thought to himself, It says this mans father owns a weapons store somewhere in the city along the eastern coastline Dias wrapped up has mouth and face with his black cloth, making him unrecognizable, and walked into town. He walked for about an hour before just finding the shop as the sun set, "Looks like I'll be tracking this man all night.."

The man looked over at Klein. "My son has been missing for about a week now, he ran away from home after recieving a letter. I have no idea where he went." The man said. Klein nodded. "And you want me to find him right?" He asked. The man smiled "Yes, please find my son, when he is returned safely you may take the blade and be on your way." He said gesturing towards it. Klein moved towards the door. "Alright then, any idea where he went?" He asked. The man sighed. "I heard he went through the river valley to the north, after that I have no idea." Klein shrugged his shoulders. "Tracking is one of my talents, I can handle it. I'll be back soon." He opened the door and set off towards the north, whistling a tune to himself.

When dias entered the shop, the old man was pacing back and forth nervously. He noticed Dias, "Oh hello there, something you need sir? It doesn't look like you'll be needing any weapons.." the man pointed out the giant sword, and katana on dias' back. Dias replied, "very observant of you..and you are correct, its not weapons I'm looking for.. it's your son, Miles Steiner? I heard he was missing and wanted to lend a hand" Mr. Steiner looked exited for a moment, but quickly became puzzled. "Mister thats awful kind of you but.. What business do you have with my son?..Wait! you must a friend of that spirited young man who came by a few hours ago!" Dias smirked slightly, "You're correct! i was hoping to catch him here, it seems im too late." Mr. Steiner motioned him toward the door, "Quick! head north! If you hurry, you may be able to meet him at the river valley!" Dias stepped outside, Mr. Steiner grabbed hold of his shoulder, "Please young man, find my son! Im worried senseless about the boy...Be careful though, I heard it's been storming up north, at and around the valley." Diased replied "I'll find him..and don't worry about the storms...I"ll manage." Dias smirked as he pulled the black cloth back over his face, and began running toward the river valley.

Klein came upon the valley in a few hours, it was storming as he was approaching but now that he was upon it the thunder was rather loud, and the river in the valley was churning and rough. "Please tell me there is a bridge around here somewhere..." Klein mumbled to himself. He looked around and saw a shaky rope bridge leading across the valley. "Not what I had in mind but it'll do." He said making his way towards it. As he crossed he felt the bridge teetering under him, the harsh winds rocking it and almost causing him to fall hundreds of feet to the waters below. "Oh god damnit..." He said, voice shaking. "I need to hurry the hell off this thing" He picked up his pace and made it to the other side moments before the bridge collapsed into the water below. Klein breathed heavily and sat on a nearby rock to catch his breath.

It was raining decently hard at this point. The rain.. Must mean I'm getting close Dias thought. The field Dias had been traveling through came to an end as the amount of trees in the area increased as he continued toward the valley. He stopped running. he could only walk through the forested area. He was determined to reach the valley before Klein could leave with Miles. Dias looked far into the distance as he emerged from the small forest he had treked through, he could see the river valley. He began running once again.

Klein rested for a few moments and then continued North. "What is up here anyway?" He thought to himself. Eventually he came across a small forest near the edge of the river valley. "This seems suspicious..." He thought to himself. He looked at the mud at his feet and noticed boot prints. "These must belong to that mans son!" He thought with a smile. He followed them through the forest a came upon a large clearing. In the clearing was what looked to be the ruins of an ancient city, with a large temple of some kind in the center, the tracks stopped due to the stone ground. "Damn lost the trail, but he must be around these ruins somewhere, guess I better get checking." He said to himself as he began to search the various ruined buildings. After searching for a long while he stopped short when he heard the sound of footsteps and faint voices in one of the nearby buildings, close to the base of the temple. "Finally." He thought to himself as he moved closer to the opening. "Sir, are you the son of the weapon shop owner in town?" Klein called out before entering the ruins.

About an hour later, Dias peeked out into the ruins. Dias heard walking, he saw Miles being pushed around by a group of 5 men. He crept silently into the ruins, and followed behind the group. He listened to the conversation, "Alright miles, this is the last time I'm going to ask, where's the gold!? Do not keep telling me you don't know!" Miles was frantic, and scared out of his mind. "It's not here! I swear! I'm not lying to you!" The man asking the questions punched miles once in the face, and once more in the stomach, and he fell to the ground. He appears to be the group leader.. Dias thought. Dias was about to step in, when he, and the group of men, heard a voice around the corner say "Sir, are you the son of the weapon shop owner in town?" (Dias and Klein are on the same timeline now)

Klein walked around the corner and looked into the opening of the ruined building. "Who the hell is this?" One of the men inside asked. "Oh, I'm Klein, I'm looking for the son of the weapon shop owner in town? I was sent to find him." Klein said with a smile. He looked down and noticed the man on the ground, blood coming from his nose. "What the hell is going on here?" Klein asked. The leader of the men stepped forward. "Nothing, now get out of here, you saw nothing." He said gruffly. "Sorry but no can do, I guess this just turned into a rescue mission." Klein said with a shrug of his shoulders. The men looked around at eachother and stepped up to Klein, their fists raised. "Oh come on, you aren't even armed?" Klein said laughing. He motioned to his blades. "Dont worry, I wont kill you." Klein said. One of the men lunged for him, Klein side stepped and delivered a kick to his back sending him to the ground. He then whirled around and delivered a punch to another face, instantly knocking him out. Two more came at him from the sides. Klein dodged out of the way and kicked each of their legs out from under them with one sweep. The leader of the group suddenly drew a dagger from behind his boot. "Ha! Now you'll pay for underestimating us!" He yelled lunging at Klein. "Damnit...Now I'm not going to be so forgiving." Klein quickly drew his dirks and side-stepped the lunge. He plunged one of the dirks into the mans side, and the other into his arm. The man fell to the ground, blood pouring from his wounds. "Now what did we learn?" Klein said with a smirk as he looked down at him. The three men he had knocked to the ground were beginning to rise and Klein turned to face them. "Wh...Boss! No!" One of them yelled. "This...this guy is too strong, lets get out of here!" Another screamed as they took off running. "And you were scared of those idiots?" Klein asked turning to face Miles, who was cowering in the corner. Klein offered him his hand and helped him to his feet. "Your dad sent me here to rescue you...I honestly thought I was looking for a child, not a grown man." Klein said with a chuckle. "Now then, let's get you back home." He said turning back towards the entrance.

Dias jumped down from his hiding spot, and motioned to Klein to be quiet. Klein was ignorant to the motion, "Who are you now?!" Dias sighed deeply. "I told you to be quiet, fool." Klein smiled "Why? I'm not worried about anyone hearing me, did you see those two run off?!" Dias walked over to him, "Yes. They ran off.. right back outside these ruins to the rest of their gang. Had you been more aware you would have known theres at least 10 men wandering around outside waiting for these 5 to return. I'm not worried however, you see.. I need that man, Miles. He's coming with me right now, and I'll let.." As Dias said that at least 10 men, and the 2 from before rushed into the ruined town weapons drawn. "..Them take care of you while I walk unnoticed through the back gate." Klein drew his weapons, "Oh no you don't! I promised this man's father I'd bring him back safe." The men were too close for Dias to escape unnoticed at this point. Klein smiled, "You can't kill them all yourself, and its too late to run. You need my help!" Dias effortlessly drew his giant blade from his back with one hand. "No..I don't" Thunder boomed violently, and it began to storm heavily. As Dias said that he darted toward the 12 man squad. He ravaged through them like a hurricane. He slashed horizontally as he ran carving 2 of them fatally. The turned to his right and cut with the blade upward, partially severing another mans head with the attack. In a series of lightning fast slashes and evasive moves, 8 more of the men lie dead in a bloody mess. One left. Dias glared at him and the man froze with fear. Dias took another step toward him, and he tried to turn tail and run, but before he even took 2 steps, dias seemed to appear in front of him with his hand around the man's neck. "Where do you think your going?!" With his free hand, dias drew his katana and plunged it into the mans stomach. Dias withdrew his katana, and walked back toward Klein still wielding the larger blade. Klein stared at the rain mixed with blood dripping from Dias's hands, and sword. Dias smiled under his mask and said "Now..I'm leaving here with Miles."

Klein shook his head and tightened the grip on his blades. "I can't let you do that, sorry." He said, obviously a bit a shaken. He glanced over his shoulder at the scared Miles. "Don't worry, I'll get you home safe." Klein said with a smirk. His gaze returned to Dias. "You are a strong one...but I can handle myself." He dug his feet into the ground and tightened his body, readying himself in a battle stance. "If you want a fight, Let's do this." He turned and gave a quick thumbs up to Miles so Dias could not see, then jerked it towards the entrance quickly. He hoped Miles understood.

(NEW BATTLE SYSTEM! PvP battles will now take place in the same post, edited back and forth between opponents) Dias sighed. He dropped his sword, a booming noise rang out as it hit the ground. he unclipped his belt which he kept his katana sheathed in and let it too fall to the ground. He cracked his knuckles, and prepared himself. "You heroic actions are going to be the death of you!" Klein shifted slightly. "Foolish, discarding your weapons thinking I'd do the same." He said. He pushed down one foot and leapt upwards, coming down at Dias' face with the other. He dove out of the way and sprung up on Kleins side. Dias kicked the back of kliens leg to knock him off balance, and with his left leg kicked him again in the chest knocking him backward. "I didn't intend for you to drop your weapons. I simply prefer not using mine." Klein hit the ground and immediatly rolled backwards to a standing position. "I see." He said, wiping some dirt from his mouth. Klein rushed forward at with one blade pointed at his chest, waiting for him to strike, once he did Klein ducked and rolled around to his back, finishing by jumping back to his feet with his Dirk planted in Dias' back. Dias spun around 180 degrees almost instantly. Dias had his hand grasped around kliens weapon-hand. Klein attempted to stab with his other hand, Dias caught that one as well. When he had control of both Klein's arms, Dias kneed Klein in the stomach, then grabbed him, and threw him into a near by wall. Klien slammed into the wall, and slumped to the ground. Dias watched for a moment and he didnt move. Dias walked toward Miles. "You don't deserve to leave here with your life today. What those bandits did to you today, you deserved." Miles was shaking with fear. "Making a profit by selling false promises of riches, and fake treasure maps? When in reality..theres no gold, no precious jewels.. Nothing at all, is there?" Dias glared at Miles who was now on the ground trembling. "Tell me! Admit theres nothing here!" Miles couldn't speak for a moment "Th...there..there is nothi..nothing here." Dias laughed, "Now lets leave before that pest wakes up" Klein struggled to his feet silently. "Damn...he's stronger then I thought" He thought to himself. He moved quietly behind him, grabbing one of the fallen men's sword, they were dull but would work. Klein back up a few steps and rushed with all his might into Dias knocking him to the ground. "Now! Run!" Klein yelled. He raised the blade he had taken and speared it through Dias' leg. Klein turned and quickly ran off towards valley where Miles was headed. "Hurry damnit, that won't hold him for long." Klein called ahead to Miles. Dias sat up, "Son of a BITCH!!" He howeled. He ripped the sword out and stood up, sprinting after them grabbing his weapons along the way. He was slower than usual due to the wound, but he was fast enough to catch them. They were running along a forested trail alongside the river valley. Dias was enraged. Klein turned and saw Dias fast-approaching. He stopped, miles foolishly stopped as well. Dias was charging with his blade in one hand. "Now your going to DIE here!" He heaved it across as strong and fast as he could. Just in the knick of time Klein jumped over the swing, and Dias hit a tree, cutting all the way through it. He looked back at Klein as the severed tree tipped over and fell down the valley into the river. Dias swung the blade in another wide horizontal arc. As he did this, Klein took the only chance he had left. He pushed Miles over the side of the cliff, and dove in with him. Dias flinched forward as if to follow. "God damn that man.. One target's not worth the trouble, if he did survive, he's the only targer that's ever escaped from me.."

Klein surfaced in a few moments and looked around frantically for Miles, he saw him down stream a bit scrambling to stay afloat. "I am getting sick of water" He mumbled as he swam to catch up. He helped Miles stay afloat as they drifted down the river, Klein taking the brunt of most of the rocks and debris. Eventually they floated to a bank and Klein dragged Miles up on to it. "You alright?" He asked helping him stand to his feet. "Y...Yea....thank you so much." Miles said bowing in thanks. "Let's get you home, and no more of this phony map stuff you got it?" Klein snapped. They made it back into town eventually and walked into the weapon shop. "Sir? I have your son!" Klein called. "M....Miles!?" the man said, walking out from a nearby stock room. "Y...you're alive!" He hugged his son. "Dad, I'm sorry...I'm sorry for worrying you." Miles said as he choked back tears. Klein smiled as he looked on. "Glad to help." He said with a flick of his wrist. "Oh...oh yes thank you!" the owner said. "Here, take the blade, it's the least I can do!" He said handing Klein the rapier. It was made of a dark metal, with an ornate silver handle and guard. The sheath was a dark crimson one, a few inches longer then the blade. "It's beautiful sir, thank you, I promise to use it well." Klein said turning to leave. "Wait, Klein!" Miles yelled. "Here..." He pulled out a small pouch of coins. "It's all the money I earned from...well...you know" He said quietly. "Are you sure? You risked your life for this" Klein said. "I'm sure, it's dirty money...I want to move past my old ways." Miles said. Klein nodded. "Thank you, This will help me get back to my friends." He said. He turned and gave one last smile to the father and son as he walked out. "Now...to find an Inn." Klein said heaving a sigh. "It never ends."

Since arriving on Kayastros three days before, Amira had made several friends. She was, on the island, the daughter of a lord that had been send out to find herself a respectable husband. She had visited many places already; the inn she was staying at, two bars and many little shops. She was feeling the place out. The previous day she had given several coins to a young boy who wanted to buy his mother something extra special at the market. She had definitely made her presence known around here, and she was satisfied with that as she left a bar where she had declined a few offers to stay in the homes of a few men. She smiled, passing a woman on the street she had met at the previous day and exchanging a quick greeting with her. It was just past sun down when she returned to the inn.
