Blade wandered around town seeing if there was anything he needed. Honestly there really wasn't much, ammunition for his weapon, along with a fair amount of food, water, and plenty of rum were already aboard the ship. Blade decided he'd check the ship and make sure there was nothing he needed. Upon entering, he noticed Narik was also aboard, holding an un-assembled blunderbuss in his hands. Blade laughed, "I see you've found the Blunderbuss." Narik looked up, "What? Oh yeah, this thing, it looks like a giant version of your weapon." Blade nodded, "Essentially, it is. However it fires multiple shots, as opposed to just one like my pistol. The drawback is its lack of range, and inaccuracy, which is why i chose not to use it. But most combat takes place at such close range, those two things shouldn't matter" Narik nodded, and continued to put it together. Blade walked further back in the ship, "I also stored this here before we left" Blade withdrew a large powerful looking muzzle-loading rifle. "I'm an enthusiast you might say.. but projectile weapons are the future...This rifle is as powerful as a gun can be, I don't carry it with me because its heavy, and impractical for short range. However to use it from afar requires a keen sense of vision, and is often difficult." He put it back. He looked toward two boxes, one small one large. The small one contained a second pistol, exactly the same as the first which Blade hoisted on the other side of his belt. along with a small ammunition pouch, and some powder. The large one contained a Long sword, it was silver, the quillian resembled a birds wings, and the pommel was a falcon's head, like the one engraved on blades pistol. From there, there is a small key chain with a feather on the end attached. Blade sheathed the weapon on his back, and looked to narik "We should hed back, the others are expecting us."

Narik nodded and both of them headed back to the tree where the others were waiting. "Okay, looks like we all have our supplies, so let's all head back to the ship." Narik and Blade helped Klein and Amira with the lifting and they soon made it back to the ship. Blade made his way to the wheel as Klein loosened the rope from the docks and the ship headed out to sea. "Okay, according to the map, we must go....that way." Narik lifted his hand and pointed in one direction. "Umm, you mean West?" Blade responded to Narik mockingly. "Sure, let's go with that. I never really cared for direction names anyway." He threw the map down and settled down to a nearby chair to finish making the weapon.

Klein slumped against the mast of the ship looking over at Narik. "What the hell is that thing?" He asked. "Looks like a larger version of that weird thing Blade had on his hip." Narik explained to him what it was. "Ah, seems a bit too cumbersome to be carrying around all the time or even to use in battle though, why the hell did you buy it?" Klein asked cocking an eyebrow.

"I didn't really want to say anything about it because it's just a thought, but I believe someone is after our little party. Can't really say why, but I first noticed back in town. Pretty sure I saw a man on a rooftop watching us." Narik lifted up the completed weapon to Klein. "And this...this is to make sure our stalker doesn't get far."

Klein grimaced. "Could it be...him?" He thought to himself. He looked at the weapon, hoping it would help. He stood and walked to the supplies, moving them all to belowdecks and rearranging them for easier access. "There, that should help." He smiled.

The deck was silent, The ship was headed due west. An eerie drizzle began. The sun had set, and the ocean ahead darkened. Blade light a few lanterns around the ship so the group could see. A dark mist formed at midship, and Dias appeared. "So you prepared for my arrival did you? Saw me? had suspicions? Purchased new weapons? None if that will matter. You'll all wish you'd never met Klein, he's brought me upon you." The mist dispersed, and Dias quickly drew his blade. Klein grew wide eyed, "It's..it's him!"

Klein glanced at his friends. "Damnit..." He mumbled drawing his Rapier. "Get ready, dont underestimate him!" He called. "Blade, take Amira below! Narik use that damn thing!" He called. He braced himself and kept his eye on Dias, readying himself for the strike.

Blade drew his sword, "Klein I wont sit below deck while this goes on.." Klein yelled, "No helping would be foolish, this guy isn't normal, hes much more powerful than most, and is not to be under estimated, the consequences would be lethal. I think it's me hes after, you shouldn't endanger yourself for my sake." Blade disagreed, but he went below deck as fast as possible regardless, followed by Amira.

Narik quickly loaded the Blunderbluss and then charged down at the man. "Okay, time to see how this thing works!" Narik fired a shot at the man and was blown back by the recoil. "Damn, this thing's pretty strong, hurt my arm pretty good as well." Narik looked forward to see the damage but noticed that the man was still standing there unharmed. "You have got to be kidding..." He ran closer to the man and took another shot. "This one should do it!" The bullets flew and hit the man, but once again nothing was done, but Narik noticed that some mist appeared where the bullets hit. "He must be doing something with his body to avoid the bullets....well then, let's see if a point blank shot does anything." Narik put more bullets into the weapon and then ran towards the man once more, but Dias knocked him back with the blade. "Well, Klein. Looks like you should give it a go and I'll think of something."
Dias leaped back, "That weapons pretty strong, but it won't ever hit me." Just then water splashed to the deck where Dias had just been standing. "Where'd he go!?" Klein yelled frantically. Klein looked left and right nervously. The next thing he knew, he was being held in the air with a hand around his neck. Dias's hand. "You need to die here, Klein!" Dias saw Narik ready the gun, he turned, turning Klein into a makeshift shield, "You wouldn't risk hitting your friend." Klein struggled, losing his breath. "N...Narik..." He groaned. Klein thought fast tossing his rapier to the deck and drawing one of his Dirks, stabbing it into Dias' arm. Dias' grip loosened and Klein slipped from it, falling to the deck and grabbing his Rapier. "Now Narik! Do it!" He yelled rolling to the side. Dias turned and held his blade out in front of him, he blocked the shot with the flat of the huge blade. One seemed to bounce of his leg though. Klein noticed the round bullet was wet. "A..are you made of water?!" Dias laughed, "So you noticed. No no, I'm not made of it. It surrounds me, moving at such a fast rate its not noticeable to the eye. It serves as armor." Klein noticed there was no wound on his arm where he had stabbed him earlier. Dias looked angry, "I only wish I had been using this trick a day ago when you stabbed me in the leg, No you're going to pay for that!"
He lifted his Blade, and swung it overhead onto Klein. Klein looked up and dodged to the side at the last moment, the blade grazing his leg and leaving a gash. "Damnit!" Klein said grasping the cut. He looked over, noticing his Dirk on the deck a few feet away. He ran over at grabbed it, dodging to the side just as Dias' blade came down again. He sheathed the dirk and kept his rapier in his main hand. "Damn..we need to do something about that armor Narik!' He called out, strafing around Dias' ready to dodge the next blow. "Any ideas would be appreciated!" He grimaced as his leg throbbed.
Narik sat back analyzing the moves that Dias was doing. "So he uses that water to protect him as a barrier. Well then, there's only one thing we can do about that...Klein, try to hit him once more." Klein looked at Narik suspiciously and then attempted to stab Dias. The water blocked as usually, but Narik noticed that there was a very slight delay for the water to regenerate the hole that the attack made. "Okay, Klein. I've got an idea. We need to work together to beat this guy. Attack again...and try to make it big." Klein nodded and lifted his sword to strike. Dias looked over to Narik and saw that he had the Blunderbuss pointed directly at the place where Klein was to strike. "So you caught on, but I can't let you do that." He suddenly grabbed Klein's arm and tried to make him release his sword, but Klein quickly took out his dirk and slashed at Dias' water shield. "DO IT NARIK!" Klein yelled right as Narik pulled the trigger of the Blunderbuss and watched as the bullets moved through the shield and finally struck Dias.
Dias glanced down at his bleeding arm. "Well it seems you figured a way around.." Dias once again seemed to be gone, only to appear behind Klein. He swung fast, hitting Klein's rapier with such impact that it fell right out of his hands. Narik was locked and loaded again, but Dias quickly and effortlessly hurled his enormous sword at him. He ducked and the sword was now wedged into the mast of the ship. Dias then took out his katana and began to attack Klein.
Klein dodged backwards. "Damn...still up for a fight?" He said, breathing heavily, he wasn't used to this much battle. Klein flipped backwards withdrawing his other Dirk in the process. He parried Dias' blow with one as the other swung at his face. Dias' dodged and reflected Klein's arm back. Klein grunted with the impact as he slid to the side, barely dodging a swing from Dias' katana. Narik retrived Klein's rapier and tossed it to him as Klein sheathed his dirks. "Once more?" Klein said weakly to Narik. Narik simply nodded as Klein ran up to Dias. Narik fired, the pellets hitting Dias in the chest and stomach, the water armor gilmmering as it splashed to the deck. Dias' Katana cleaved into Klein's shoulder as he plunged his rapier into Dias' stomach with full force. Klein's grip loosened on the blade as it slipped from the wound, and he fell to the deck bloody and bruised. "Can't....give up..." He said weakly as he looked up at Dias.
Dias Glared at Klein, as he clutched the wound on his stomach. "Now you're doomed!" He ripped the katana from Klein's shoulder, and planted his foot into Klein's face as hard as he could. He began cutting Klein from all directions. He sheathed the sword and picked Klein up by his collar, from the corner he saw Narik ready the gun again. As he fired, Dias whipped around and tossed Klein in front of the blast, and he went down hard to the deck motionless, what was left of Klein's will to win was surely diminished now. Dias slowly walked toward Narik. As he walked by, he ripped his giant sword out of the mast it had been wedged into.

Amira paced, a hard, thoughtful look on her face as she quickly sorted through her options. She knew mostly what was happened on deck, and had heard enough to know that Klein needed serious help. One thing, she knew, was that she would not stay here any longer than it took to map out a plan. It took just a few moments, but soon she had a makeshift idea. "Blade, hear me out. What do you think are the chances that, if he was distracted, you and Narik could take him down, at least some? I know it wouldn't be easy, but is there any chance? We don't have many choices here."

Blade looked to Amira, "Don't count them out just yet, If this man is as deadly as Klein says, we may just be a detriment to them." He spun his pistol in his hand and stopped it, "..That doesn't mean I won't fight if it comes to it."

Narik looked to Klein's fallen body in sorrow. "Damn it, I didn't mean for it to end up like this." Narik tighten his grip on the Blunderbuss and stared at Dias, who was slowly inching forward with his sword. "I really need to do something about this guy, but nothing will work now. I'm out of ideas..." Narik slowly paced around the edges of the boat and watched as Dias turned to follow his every move. "You clearly didn't need Klein for anything judging by how you treated him and by the way you look at me, I'm not your target either. So, that only leaves Blade and Amira and I seriously doubt anyone would go this far to take her, meaning you're here for Blade." Narik sighed and then threw the Blunderbuss aside. "Guess I won't be needing that anymore...out of bullets. I'm not really big on being a hero, but I can't just sit here and do nothing either..." Narik drew his sword just as Dias tried to strike and blocked the attack. "Time to see if there is another way around that shield of yours..."
Dias pushed him away from the clash. "No, infact, I don't even recognize that name. My orders are to kill Klein...and anyone working with him. So technically.." Dias swung his sword, "you ARE my target!"
Klein lay on the deck, blood pouring from his wounds. "What's going on...I can't see...I can't move" He thought. "Am I...dying...no not now" He tried to lift his beaten body but it was useless. He could hear Dias and Narik squaring off. "Narik...Blade...I'm sorry" He thought. "And...Janine...I wish I could see you one more time...forgive your foolish brother" His mouth managed to form into a smile despite the blood as he fell unconscious.
Blade felt uneasy, the rate of movement he heard above him had slowed down greatly. "..Im going up, Amria stay here!" Blade erupted from the hatch, and jumped up on deck gun drawn. Dias looked to him "I knew you would join the fray eventually." Dias lunged at him, but stopped to defend himself from a gunshot. Blade raised an eyebrow, "Damn, he's a fast one." He said nodding to Narik. Dias looked back up. "That won't work. Your friends already tried." He laughed as he pointed to the discarded blunderbuss. Narik shouted to Blade, "Blade, this man is dangerous. You can't just strike him normally, he's got some type of water armor protecting him, he's also a lot faster than he looks, besides a few blows, we've hardly touched him." Dias interrupted, "I promise you won't land anymore lucky hits!" Blade had a concerned look on his face, "Cant strike him normally, eh?", and picked up the used-blunderbuss off the ground, and set it back down a few moments later.
Blade looked at a barrel up against the quarter deck, and looked at Narik, then to the wheel, they both nodded. Blade put on his gauntlets, and drew his sword, and walked toward Dias. He fired a shot from his pistol into the air. Dias laughed,"Wasting your ammunition now?" Blade kept advancing toward him."As a team, those two were decent fighters. Assuming you're similar in skill to Klein, there's not a chance you can match me in one on one combat." Blade just smiled, "Don't be so quick to judge." Blade lunged, but was instantly dodged. Dias moved as if he saw Blade in slow motion, after easily dodging him, he was now in position beside Blade, still moving, with his back exposed. Before Blade even realized his efforts were thwarted, Dias smashed him to the deck by swinging his arm down on Blade. Blade went down hard, and Dias laughed "Don't be so quick to underestimate."
Narik used Blade's distracting efforts. He walked over to the barrel and cut a large hole in it, and kicked it. He ran to the wheel as he saw the barrel roll slowly and bump into the main mast. He saw Blade fire a random shot, and quickly realized the bullet had severed the climb-net, which was now tangled on the main boom.
Blade winced in pain, but his grimace quickly turned to a smile. Dias grabbed him by the neck and glared into his eyes. "You have no reason to smile, you fool. You fancied me a normal man like yourself, when the truth is...I'm MUCH more." He threw Blade across the deck, and he landed back by the quarterdeck. Blade crawled into the corner by the stairs. "You're wrong.."
Narik quickly spun the wheel and the main boom swung around the mast. Dias saw it right as it smashed into him. He was flung into the mast and was tangled in the climb net.
Dias laughed. "You're very clever...but did you honestly think this net would keep me bound here!?" Blade propped himself up on one of the stairs that led up to the quarterdeck. Blade smirked, " No...not forever. Just long enough." He drew the flint piece he had stripped from the blunderbuss earlier, and held it up between his index finger, and thumb. He looked down at the trail of gunpowder trailing all the way to the mast, where the barrel still nearly half full was sitting, right next to Dias' feet. Blade laughed, as he struck the flint off one of his rings, igniting the powder.
Dias closed his eyes. I'm a fool, how did I not see it sooner..The nodding, picking up that other weapon, the random shot...That smile. The powder exploded, powerful enough to destroy the bottom of the mast, causing it and all its sails to fall. Blade braced himself for the impact as the enormous mast landed with a thunderous crash, before slumping off the side of the ship, still attached by ropes to the rest of the ship. Blade picked himself up, and looked at the smoking pile of debris, there was only flames, and splinters left. No Dias, nor any signs of him. Blade was shocked at first, then he sighed and closed his eyes. "At least he's not here."

Narik looked upon the destruction of the ship and sighed. "I have a feeling there may have been a easier way of doing this, but a flashy finish works too." He patted Blade on the shoulder and then directed him towards Klein. "Yeah...I was about to ask what we should do with him." Blade looked to Narik for an answer, but he didn't seem to have any response. "The only thing we can do is look for any medical supplies on the boat and then bring him to the lower parts and let him rest until we reach Daygeran. We still have quite a while until we get there though....hopefully there is a doctor." Blade walked over to Klein and attempted to pick him up as Narik looked to the sky thinking. "I mean....what town doesn't have a doctor....right....Blade?"

---------Continued from Daygeran--------
Klein sat against the mast of the ship as it traveled Northward along the edge of the continent, heading towards the Narun river, leading to the Yuferrin Ocean on the north edge of the continent. He looked up toward Narik who was wandering the deck. "So." He said. "I suppose we are just traveling the world now with no goal." He shrugged his shoulders. "Just like old times, except now I have some friends along, seems more lively." Narik looked over at him and nodded. "Yeah, anywhere you'd like to go?" He asked. Klein stood up and walked over to the edge of the ship. "Not really, although we are running a little low on supplies, we should stop soon, what's the nearest town?" He asked. Blade walked up from below deck. "Theres a small docking town about half a days travel from here, but they won't have much so we'll have to travel inland a bit to the city of Nordipolica, theres a pretty big farming community surrounding the richer inner city and the castle, should be able to get any supplies we need there." He said. "Does that sound good to everyone?" Klein asked looking at Blade, Narik and Amira.

"Fine with me," Amira said, thoughts coming together. She studied each of the three men before looking out at the sea, a slight smile on her lips.
